Editions Pix'n Love
Created in September 2007, Pix'n Love is the first publishing house dedicated to the history and culture of video games.
Because we want to decipher and archive the history of video game heritage, the editorial line of Pix'n Love is based on a real investigative work. By meeting, interviewing and infiltrating the actors of the time, the authors of Pix'n Love manage to distil scoops, anecdotes and trivias about personalities or events that have left an indelible mark on the video game industry.
We have published more than a hundred books in France and our goal is now to offer them to you, translated into English. Our catalogue invites you to discover the wonderful epic of these personalities, these machines and these games that have made this entertainment industry one of the most colossal of the last fifty years. Whether they are illustrious creators with the collection of official biographies (Suda51, Alexey Pajitnov, Eric Chahi), books dedicated to consoles and microcomputers (NES, SNES, Game Boy, PC Engine, Amiga), or cult series (Sonic, Rayman, Witcher, Gof od War, Zelda, Shenmue, Tomb Raider), over 30,000 pages have been carefully written in twelve years of research.
Attached to the physical format and with the same will of transmission and sharing of this culture, in 2019 we become video games publisher and the label Pix'n Love Games is born.
